A new dimension has emerged in the honeytrap and blackmail case involving BJP leader Diwakar Dwivedi from Rewa district’s Semaria area. A fresh video accessed by Dainik Bhaskar shows the woman accused, Aashi Gautam, with Prateek Singh, the alleged mastermind. As the camera comes into view, Aashi is seen accusing Prateek of coercion. Police sources say the clip was recorded on the same day that Diwakar Dwivedi’s videos surfaced online. A separate photo has also emerged, allegedly showing Aashi Gautam posing with a pistol after the incident. Investigators say she exploited the close ties between Prateek Singh and the BJP leader, who had become acquainted through land-related dealings. Four arrested including young woman The police have arrested four people, Prateek Singh, Aashi Gautam (23), Sandeep Mishra, and one more accomplice. During questioning, Aashi admitted that she agreed to a photo and video shoot for ₹20,000. She claimed Diwakar Dwivedi was eager to meet her and that contact was facilitated through Prateek. Sources said Aashi is Prateek’s girlfriend, and both had planned to trap the BJP leader for financial gain. Police also found that Prateek’s family had a long-standing land dispute with Dwivedi. Around four years ago, Dwivedi had purchased nine acres of land from Prateek, after which disagreements over payment and boundaries led to hostility. Police: Prateek Misused BJP Leader’s Trust According to Semaria Police Station in-charge Vikas Kapis, Prateek Singh, Sandeep Mishra, and Aashi Gautam have been arrested, while others including Malik alias Vikas Singh, Piyush Singh, Ramkripal Pandey, and Shikhar Singh are absconding. Police have confirmed that Prateek Singh was once a close associate of the BJP leader and betrayed that trust for blackmail. Notably, police have yet to recover the mobile phones used to record the objectionable videos. Investigators revealed that Prateek had been planning the honeytrap for 15 days, assigning Aashi the task of getting close to the leader. Old criminal history and ransom demand Records show Prateek Singh already faces cases related to drug trafficking, rape, and assault. Police allege he hatched the plot to blackmail Diwakar Dwivedi, a businessman and BJP leader, for ₹1 crore. Two incriminating videos of Dwivedi went viral earlier this week, one showing him admitting to “inappropriate conduct” and another discussing money transactions. Afterward, Dwivedi claimed he was forced at gunpoint to record those videos. He said the accused stopped his car near a warehouse, pointed a pistol at him, and coerced him into compromising acts while filming. Wife of accused counters allegations In a new development, Prateek Singh’s wife Bharti Singh reached the SP office, alleging that Dwivedi had pressured her husband to transfer nine acres of land and was now demanding the sale of 15 more acres belonging to her mother. She sought a fair and impartial investigation. Police continue to trace the absconding accused and verify digital evidence. Meanwhile, the new video showing Aashi and Prateek together has given fresh direction to the ongoing probe. BJP leader said – was scared after seeing the pistol BJP leader Diwakar Dwivedi had stated that two youths named Prateek Singh and Sandeep Mishra are known to him. Both called him on the pretext of showing a plot in the Ganigwan area. On the way, Malik Singh also met, who was already known. According to Diwakar Dwivedi, Malik Singh said that his car had run out of petrol and he requested them to drop him till Kullu Mod. When they reached there, suddenly an accused pointed a pistol at his head and snatched his mobile phone. After this, he was threatened and told that he would have to go wherever he was being taken, otherwise he would be shot. The young woman tried to forcibly commit an offense BJP leader Diwakar Dwivedi stated that on the day of the incident, the accused took him about six kilometers ahead of Basaman Mama Gaushala, towards the forest near the warehouse. The accused stopped the vehicle about three kilometers inside on a dirt road. According to Diwakar, at the same time, he was threatened at gunpoint and forced to remove his clothes. A short while later, two young men were called by phone, who arrived on an FZ bike. A young woman was also riding on the bike. Diwakar says that as soon as the girl arrived, she forcibly tried to put him in an inappropriate situation. It is alleged that the accused recorded the entire incident at gunpoint and later demanded a ransom of 1 crore rupees by threatening to make it viral. Prateek’s wife reached SP office, made allegations Meanwhile, after the incident, Prateek Singh’s wife Bharti Singh also reached the SP office and lodged a complaint against the BJP leader. Bharti Singh says that the BJP leader had earlier pressured her husband to transfer 9 acres of land in his name.
