BJP leader shot dead by masked men in Katni:Attackers flee after firing in broad daylight; police launch search using CCTV footage

A BJP leader was shot dead in broad daylight by two masked men in Katni, Madhya Pradesh. The attackers came on a motorbike, fired multiple shots at him, and fled. The entire incident was caught on CCTV. Police have launched a manhunt to trace the culprits. Attack near Bank of Baroda The shooting took place near the Bank of Baroda in Kaimore Nagar around 11 AM on Tuesday.According to police, BJP Backward Class Mandal President Nilesh Rajak was travelling to the market on his motorbike when two masked men arrived on another bike and opened fire at him. Leader collapsed on the road As soon as the bullets hit, Rajak fell on the road and began bleeding heavily.Bystanders immediately called the police. A police team arrived and rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. CCTV captures the attack A CCTV camera near the spot recorded the entire incident.The footage clearly shows two men wearing masks approaching on a bike, shooting Rajak, and speeding away. Police have seized the footage for investigation.
