The mystery behind murder of a missing youth in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district has been solved, with police arresting three people- including the victim’s sister-in-law for plotting and carrying out the killing. Investigations revealed that the woman, inspired by crime reels and videos on social media, hired two men for ₹50,000 to murder her brother-in-law, whose body was later found dumped in a forest. Mystery solved through CCTV footage and location Notably, on October 26, a missing person report for Srijan Sahu (35) was filed at Mangwani police station. During investigation, police found CCTV footage near Hotel Jalsa, which showed Nidhi taking him with her. Thereafter, Srijan did not return. His mobile’s last location was also found in Mangwani forest. When Nidhi was taken into custody and interrogated, she confessed to the murder. Based on her information, the other two accused were also arrested. Murder conspiracy was planned on Bhai Dooj Reportedly, Nidhi called her brother-in-law to Barheta on the pretext of Bhai Dooj and got him murdered with help from Sahil and a minor. Sahil revealed that the deal was fixed for Rs 50000, of which he had already taken Rs 20000 in advance. After the murder, the body was hidden under rocks in the forest of Ghoghra village. After an all-night search, police found the mutilated body on a dirt road diverted from NH-44. After marriage, Srijan was allegedly blackmailing Nidhi by threatening to make old videos and photos viral. For this reason, she planned to remove him from the way.
