The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be released in the first week of November. More than 10 crore farmers across the country will benefit from this. What did Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh say? Some states have already received the 21st installment The central government has already released the 21st installment in some states. On September 26, 2025, this installment was given to farmers in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, as advance relief was provided to compensate for the damage caused by floods and landslides in these states. Additionally, farmers in Jammu and Kashmir also received this installment on October 7, 2025. Other states are expected to receive payment in November. Under this scheme, Rs 2,000 is transferred to farmers’ accounts in three installments every year. The first installment is released between April-July, the second between August-November, and the third between December-March. What is the impact of the Model Code of Conduct? Due to the assembly elections in Bihar, the Model Code of Conduct is in force. In such a situation, the question arises whether payment can be made during this period? The answer is – yes. During the Model Code of Conduct, new schemes cannot be announced, but payments under ongoing schemes, such as PM-Kisan, can continue. The only condition is that all technical formalities between the state and central governments must be completed. These farmers will not receive the installment The Ministry of Agriculture has clarified that farmers who have not completed e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, or bank account linking will not receive the 21st installment. State governments have been instructed to prepare and send the verification list of eligible farmers to the center as soon as possible. Advice for farmers If you are a beneficiary of the PM-Kisan scheme, immediately check the status of your e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding. If these formalities are not complete, contact your nearest agriculture office or Common Service Center (CSC). Eligible beneficiaries of the scheme can also register through Common Service Centers (CSC). Additionally, local Patwaris, Revenue Officers, and Nodal Officers nominated by the state government for the scheme are registering farmers. 20th Installment was Released on August 2 Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on August 2. PM Modi transferred Rs 20.84 crore as the 20th installment into the accounts of 9.7 crore farmers from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
