The incident took place on Sunday morning in Naudanda village of Bamsauli panchayat, Sabalgarh area. The deceased, Bharti Kushwah, daughter of Horilal Kushwah, was cutting green fodder for livestock at her home when the snake, hiding in the fodder, got caught in the cutting machine and was sliced into three pieces. The snake pieces fell into the fodder, and when Bharti picked it up, the head portion—still alive—bit her on the hand, leading to her death. Treatment done in three villages, life could not be saved After the snake bite, the young woman’s condition started deteriorating. The family first tried local exorcism and traditional treatment in the village, but it had no effect. After this, the family took her to Shyaman village and then to Neperi village, but there was no improvement there either. Finally, when her condition became serious, she was brought to Sabalgarh hospital, where doctors declared her dead after examination. Proposal for assistance will be sent to the government Rampur Station Officer Ram Mantra Gupta said that the death of the young woman due to snake bite has been confirmed in Naudanda village. Experts say that snakes come out in open spaces due to increased moisture in the weather and abundance of fodder in the fields.
