An audio of a Forest Department ranger from Tikamgarh district has gone viral, in which he is allegedly heard threatening to hit a farmer with a shoe. He said, ‘If you come in front of me, I will hit you with a shoe, I am not your servant.’ The matter is related to a dispute over the resolution of a complaint registered in the CM Helpline. Akhilesh Pal, a farmer from Bhatgora village, alleged that he had lodged a complaint in the CM Helpline regarding encroachment on Forest Department land by influential people. The Forest Department resolved the complaint, stating it was resolved, without inspecting the site. After this, the farmer called the ranger. How was the complaint closed without investigation? When the farmer called Jatara Ranger Shishupal Ahirwar about this and asked how the complaint was closed without investigation, the Ranger allegedly flared up. Farmer Akhilesh Pal recorded the entire conversation. After this, on Saturday, he complained to senior officials of the forest department about the audio.
