Firing in Morena, miscreants storm into house:Vandalise property and hurl abuses for 15 minutes; case filed against 9, 5 detained

More than a dozen armed men opened fire and created chaos in Morena’s Rathore Colony on Wednesday. The attackers stormed into a house, vandalised property, and abused residents before fleeing after about 15 minutes. The entire incident was caught on CCTV. Police have filed an FIR against nine accused, detaining five so far. Complainant Rakesh Rathore said the men, whom he recognised, entered his home shooting and misbehaved with women. They later damaged his brother’s nearby house, though he was not present at the time. Victim’s statement- “They fired and misbehaved with women” Complainant Rakesh Rathore said the armed men, whom he recognised, stormed into his home while shooting and misbehaved with women.“I kept asking with folded hands what had happened, but no one replied,” he said.The assailants then went to his brother’s nearby house and vandalised it as well. His brother was not at home at the time. Neighbours- “All are old criminals” Neighbour and relative Suresh Rathore said all the men seen in the CCTV footage are known criminals with past records. Police- They mistook the house for someone else’s TI Amit Bhadauria of Kotwali Police Station said the attack was linked to a dispute involving a man named Munna Satoria.“The miscreants thought the person they had a dispute with was hiding in Rakesh Rathore’s house,” Bhadauria said. Police have booked Prince Rathore, Akash Rathore, Rahul Rathore, Jaybir Rathore, Sachin Baghel, Ramprakash Rathore and two others. Five have been detained, and Munna has also been taken into custody.“We are searching for the remaining accused. No one will be spared,” Bhadauria added.
