Car showroom fire in Indore kills Congress leader:Dies of suffocation; wife critically injured and on ventilator in hospital

A senior Congress leader and car showroom owner, Parvesh Agrawal, National President of Narmada Sena, died early Thursday morning after a fire broke out at his showroom in the Lasudia area. According to preliminary reports, the fire erupted around 5 a.m. on Thursday. Parvesh Agrawal and his wife, Rekha Agrawal, were present inside the showroom when the blaze started. Parvesh Agrawal succumbed to suffocation at the scene. His wife was critically injured and immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where she is on a ventilator. Cause under investigation The Indore police have registered a case and initiated a full investigation into the fire. A forensic team has been dispatched to the site to determine the exact cause of the blaze. Authorities are examining whether the incident was accidental, caused by an electrical fault, or if foul play was involved. Police sources confirmed that the entire showroom has been cordoned off for evidence collection. Officials are inspecting fire safety compliance records, electrical installations, and any potential combustible materials present at the site.
