A devotee attending the Bhasma Aarti at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain passed away early Monday morning due to a sudden heart attack.
Saurabh Raj Soni (47), a resident of Parshvnath City in Ujjain, was a regular attendee of the Bhasma Aarti held every Monday at Mahakal Temple. On this Monday, he reached the temple as usual but collapsed in the temple premises near Gate No. 1 before the Aarti could begin. Despite being rushed to the hospital immediately, doctors declared him dead. Devoted life and daily rituals Saurabh ran a small tea shop named Vinayak Cafe in the Freeganj area. He was known for his devotion to Lord Mahakal and never missed the Monday rituals. Friends and fellow devotees remembered him as a sincere devotee who always participated in the Bhasma Aarti with full faith.
