A 52-feet tall statue of Swami Vivekananda will be installed in Devi Ahilya Sarovar Udyan, located in Sirpur, Indore. This statue, to be built at a cost of 4 crore rupees, will be made of Panchdhatu (five metals). Sculptor Naresh Kumawat claims that this will be the world’s first statue of Swami Vivekananda of such a height. Sculptor Kumawat informed that this statue will be ready soon. This 14-ton statue will be made of Panchdhatu. It will contain 85 percent copper, while the remaining 15 percent will consist of metals like zinc, lead, etc. Due to copper, its lifespan will be thousands of years. This statue is being prepared at Kumawat’s studio, Matu Ram Kala Kendra, in Gurugram. It will be brought from Gurugram to Indore in several parts and assembled. A special gallery will also be built at the statue site. In this gallery, Swami Vivekananda’s life and thoughts will be displayed through pictures, documents, and digital media. Acting Mayor Rajendra Rathore informed that approximately 9 crore rupees will be spent on the development of the statue and its surrounding area. Ambedkar and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel installed in the Parliament House. He has also prepared statues of Mahatma Gandhi in New York and Swami Vivekananda in Mexico. He has also installed statues in Geneva, Guyana, Costa Rica, Australia, and Mauritius. Naresh’s team consists of 300 people.
