Mumbai vs Jammu and Kashmir: Shivam Dube out of first match All-rounder Shivam Dube has been ruled out of Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy 2025-26 team for the first match. Dube was not played in the match against Jammu and Kashmir due to back stiffness. Dube returned to Mumbai from Srinagar on Tuesday evening. Tournament to be played in two legs The 2025-26 season of the Ranji Trophy will be held in two rounds from October 15 to February 28. The first phase of the Ranji Trophy will be played from October 15 to November 19. While the second phase will run from January 22 to February 1. The knockouts will be played from February 6 to 28. Vidarbha is the current Ranji champion Vidarbha is the current Ranji champion. The final match between Vidarbha and Kerala ended in a draw. Vidarbha was declared champion based on the first innings lead. Vidarbha scored 379 runs in the first innings. In response, Kerala scored 342 runs. Vidarbha got a lead of 37 runs based on the first innings. On the fifth day of the match, Vidarbha scored 375 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their second innings and declared the match drawn without calling Kerala to bat.
