Police on Sunday solved the case of a woman’s death in Madni Barchhi village under Bordei police station, Betul district. Though the family initially claimed it was an accident, the investigation revealed she was murdered by her son, Nitesh, who has been arrested by Amla police. The deceased, Imla Jharbade (45), wife of local school teacher Santosh Jharbade, was initially said by her family to have been injured in a fall at home. However, when police arrived, they found blood spread across the house and sharp weapon wounds on her neck, chest, and back, raising suspicion of murder. Marks found in forensic investigation Comes from an educated family According to the police, the accused Nitesh studied engineering from Mumbai and is said to be an IIT passout. According to police sources, Nitesh is said to be mentally unstable. The family is highly educated; the father is a teacher, one sister is working as a constable in CISF, while the other sister is pursuing M.Tech from IIT Allahabad. The deceased Imla was the mother of three daughters and one son.
