India had a strong start on the opening day of the second Test against the West Indies, finishing at 318 for 2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal led the charge with a brilliant unbeaten 173, continuing his superb form in red-ball cricket. The day began on a light-hearted note as Indian captain Shubman Gill finally won the toss after six consecutive losses, drawing laughter from coach Gautam Gambhir and pacer Jasprit Bumrah. KL Rahul Stumping Out The Indian team lost their first wicket in the 18th over. KL Rahul was dismissed for 38 runs. He was stumped by wicketkeeper Tevin Imlach off Jomell Warrican’s bowling. Gill collides with Windies wicket-keeper Tevin Imlach On the fifth ball of the 85th over, Shubman Gill collided with West Indies wicketkeeper Tevin Imlach. Jaiswal played a shot off Anderson Phillip’s delivery and took a quick single. The fielder made a throw, but the ball was off-target and going away from the wicketkeeper.
