Right-arm pacer Mohammed Siraj, who played a vital role in dismantling the West Indies batting lineup, recieved a significant jump in his ranking. Along with him, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja also achieved career-best ratings after their strong performances in the first Test. Siraj climbs to career-best 12th spot among Test bowlers Mohammed Siraj was one of India’s biggest gainers after his seven-wicket haul across two innings in Ahmedabad. His outstanding spell helped India finish the match inside three days and also lifted him three places up to 12th in the Test bowlers’ rankings, the highest of his career so far. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah continues to hold the No. 1 spot among Test bowlers, further extending his lead after taking three wickets in the same match. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav also made a notable rise, moving seven spots up to joint 21st after his four wickets in the first Test. He gained six spots to climb to 25th place, marking his career-best position as a batter. KL Rahul also made a strong impact with his century against the West Indies, moving four places up to 35th in the Test batting rankings. England’s Joe Root, however, continues to dominate as the world’s top-ranked Test batter. Big changes in T20I rankings The latest update also saw movement in T20I rankings following the Australia–New Zealand series. Australia captain Mitch Marsh jumped 13 spots to 10th among T20I batters after scoring 197 runs in three innings. New Zealand’s Tim Robinson soared 58 places to 22nd, while Bangladesh’s Saif Hassan rose 17 spots to 18th. Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan climbed to second place, just behind India’s Varun Chakravarthy, while his teammates Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb Ur Rahman also made big gains.
