Patwari claims 90% of IAS officers act under government’s:Says, ‘those in khaki shorts should fasten their buttons’; BJP condemns remarks as indecent

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Jitu Patwari said that becoming an IAS requires immense hard work and training. After this, officers are given a rule book to understand government functioning and run the administration. He added that 90% of IAS officers in districts reportedly follow BJP directives and target the opposition. Patwari made these remarks during the ongoing Collector-Commissioner Conference in Bhopal, which began Tuesday at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium and was inaugurated by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav. Patwari said, Regarding this training, I am urging that all of you will have to improve. The rules of the service book will have to be followed. Otherwise, time will not remain the same.
