In Multai of Betul district, a young couple reportedly jumped into the Bukakhedi dam on Saturday morning, leaving their one-and-a-half-year-old child by the roadside. Police and divers have launched a search operation for both Shubham Kardate (25) and Roshni (22). Background of couple Shubham and Roshni had a love marriage two years ago. According to family members, disputes had started soon after their marriage and continued frequently. The couple reportedly had a fight on Friday night before the incident. Incident and police action The couple’s jump was witnessed by a local resident, Munna Parihar of Hatnapur, who immediately alerted the villagers. The Station In-charge, Devkaran Daheria, along with police personnel, reached the spot and began searching the dam. Meanwhile, the child was taken into the care of villagers for safety. Family members confirmed that frequent arguments between Shubham and Roshni may have led to this tragic incident. The police and rescue teams continue to search the dam to locate the couple.
