Notably, as per Kroll’s Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2024, the brand value of celebrities surged by 8.6% from that of 2023. This year’s top 10 celebrities with the highest brand value also include cricket players Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni, and actors like Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, and Amitabh Bachchan. As per Kroll’s report, Kohli’s brand valuation in 2024 stood at $231.1 million, approximately ₹2,049.8 crores. Apart from the star cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar holds the fifth spot with a brand valuation of about $112.2 million (₹995 crores), while Mahendra Singh Dhoni ranks at number seven with $102.9 million (₹912 crores). Meanwhile, the most bankable celebrity in the acting domain, trailing Kohli, is Ranveer Singh, who has a face value of ₹1,514 crore among brands. Following Ranveer, there is Shah Rukh Khan, who holds a brand valuation of ₹1,292 crore. It is for the second consecutive year that Kohli holds the highest brand value, but it is not limited to just two years.
