In Gorakhpur’s Mauachapi village, a villager died after confronting cattle smugglers. According to SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, villagers chased the smugglers, leading to a youth being taken in their vehicle and later pushed out, resulting in fatal head injuries. Police have registered a case and are conducting investigations, dismissing rumors of a bullet injury.
