In Bengaluru’s Hosakerehalli, two homemakers were robbed of gold chains worth Rs 3.9 lakh by bike-borne assailants. The incident occurred while the women were en route to a Ganesha festival music event. One victim, Varalakshmi, was attacked with a machete after resisting the robbery.
