Explained: How private candidates can take additional subjects in CBSE exams

CBSE has clarified the eligibility rules for private candidates taking additional subjects in Classes 10 and 12. Only students previously studying the subject and placed in ‘Compartment’ or ‘Essential Repeat’ categories are eligible.
