Hoshiarpur’s Lt Parul Dhadwal carries forward five generations of military legacy

Lieutenant Parul Dhadwal’s commissioning into the Indian Army marks the fifth generation of her family’s unwavering service to the nation. Hailing from Hoshiarpur, she received the President’s Gold Medal at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. Her family’s military legacy began with her great-great-grandfather in 1896, and now includes three serving officers, showcasing a rare and proud distinction.
