Kush Maini has been promoted to the reserve driver for Alpine Formula 1. The 24-year-old from Bengaluru joined the Alpine junior driver program in 2023. He will support car development using the simulator at Enstone and participate in testing previous cars. Maini aims to become the third Indian F1 driver after Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok.
