Shilarapu Ramesh, a 38-year-old man from Peddapalli district, has been sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 21,000 for the rape of a minor. The Fast-Track Special Court at Peddapalli delivered the verdict in the POCSO case. Ramesh committed the crime on June 2, 2022, after luring the victim into a house, gagging her, and fleeing the scene.
